This restaurant gets five stars for the quality of its food, and convenient location off the 75 route to and from Florida. It's surprising to have a good quality restaurant along a highway! It's not easy to find behind the gas station and Krystal, but worth the effort. I particularly enjoyed the tempura - the sauce was on par with any I've had in San Francisco's Japan town.

I was so very disappointed in this establishment. We found this place based on Yelp reviews and just knew we had hit the jackpot. I'm not sure if it was just an awful day or if there is new management...
The place was not busy so we were immediately sad by a hibachi grill. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks, but we were all still excited about hibachi.
So, we placed orders for hibachi and sushi. After 40 minutes of sitting there my husband finally asked what was going on. They told him it's a "first come first serve". Again I need to stress that this place was NOT busy in any way.
5 minutes later they brought the food. We were all so confused as we were sitting at the hibachi grill and had ordered hibachi, but they brought it out fully cooked from the kitchen... really????
Let's talk about the sushi. The rice was dry and the fish was mushy and smelly. So they served us old fish?
The service wasn't great either. All of us had empty cups and she didn't even bring silverware for us to eat. I had to get up and get it myself for our whole family.
I would never recommend this place. -

High hopes on Father's Day for great sushi at a well rated restaurant.
Service was poor. Took 5 minutes to be acknowledged and seated after we entered the restaurant. We had to go get our own napkins and utensils because our waitress didn't bother.
After 30m of waiting for our food--and the restaurant was only 50% full--I checked progress. We did finally get our food after 40m.
The food was disappointing. We ordered a mix of hibachi (where we were seated) and sushi. Contrary to our expectations, the hibachi orders were made in the kitchen, not on the grill in front of us. Not the experience we were looking for. The sushi was not so fresh; the tuna tasted particularly old.
Overall, our experience and the food quality were both much less than we hoped for. We tried this restaurant because reviews were quite good. Not sure why our experience didn't measure up (short staffed?) but we won't be back. -

We were on the highway and found this great sushi restaurant in Cordele. We ordered sushi (3 pieces each of yellow trail, salmon, and tuna). The sushi was fresh very tender and delicious. We also had the salmon teriyaki which was a nice size portion and very good. The salad (comes with the meal) with ginger dressing was the only disappointment. We would stop there again.

Hidden gem of the town. Sits behind two gas stations right off exit 101. Great selections of sushi and Japanese grill items. We tried the steak, shrimp and scollop combo and couple of my friends tried their sushi rolls. All were very good, chef out on a good show even though we were all adults. Price is reasonable. We will be back for sure.
